| Resumen: |
The objective of this study is to explore the implementation of Web scraping technology on LinkedIn to automate candidate search and enhance decision-making in talent recruitment at Grupo Hada. This Colombian company, dedicated to the production and marketing of hygiene and personal care products, stands out for its strong organizational culture and a human talent management approach focused on quality and innovation. However, it faces significant challenges in attracting talent for key positions due to its reliance on manual and unsystematized search processes on digital platforms. This study followed an applied research approach and adopted a two-phase methodological design: the implementation of an automated Web scraping system for recruitment using LinkedIn, and the quantitative evaluation of this application based on expert criteria. The evaluation instrument designed included five dimensions assessed by three talent recruitment experts using a Likert scale. The results showed average scores above 4.0 across these dimensions, indicating substantial improvements in the implementation of recruitment practices. This case study provides empirical evidence on the applicability of Web scraping as a digital transformation tool in recruitment practices, highlighting the importance of integrating technological solutions aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. Its contribution is particularly relevant for organizational contexts in emerging economies seeking to digitize critical functions such as human talent management. |
