| Resumen: |
This research was conducted at a private security and surveillance company located in Medellín, Colombia, with the purpose of identifying and analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect the job motivation of associates and employees. To achieve this, the CMT (Work Motivation Questionnaire), designed for adults, was used. This questionnaire accurately assesses levels of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation through an automated interpretive report and calculates the corresponding motivation indices.
The results obtained through data analysis allowed the company to anticipate the behavior of associates and employees in different work scenarios, as well as to design and implement specific motivational strategies. They also facilitated the identification of situations and conditions that influence increases or decreases in motivation, and provided an assessment of the work environment within the organization.
Furthermore, the research contributed to strengthening human development within the company, providing a solid foundation for formulating specific plans and strategies aimed at enhancing both the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of associates and employees. Ultimately, these contributions allow for improved human talent management, promote a more inspiring work environment, and consequently, raise levels of productivity and employee engagement within the organization. |
