| Resumen: |
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping organizational processes across multiple sectors, including healthcare, where its adoption largely depends on staff readiness and competencies. This study evaluates the impact of an AI training program on the performance of administrative staff at a Colombian hospital. A training intervention was implemented, aimed at developing practical skills in the use of AI tools applicable to administrative management. Its effectiveness was assessed through a pre- and post-intervention mean difference analysis. The results indicate a significant improvement in employee performance after the training, highlighting the importance of designing training programs that effectively transfer learning to the workplace. These findings have important implications for talent management and the design of training strategies in the healthcare sector amid ongoing digital transformation. |
