El volumen 10 del EYIEL se centra en la relación entre el derecho laboral transnacional y el derecho económico internacional con motivo del centenario de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT). Como una de las agencias de las Naciones Unidas más antiguas, la OIT ha logrado avances considerables con respecto a los derechos y condiciones laborales. Las contribuciones al Volumen 10 de EYIEL evalúan estos logros a la luz de los desafÃos actuales y futuros. Se analizan los principales instrumentos y documentos legales de la OIT y, de manera similar, el impacto que tienen las normas laborales en los acuerdos comerciales y de inversión. En su sección regional, EYIEL 10 aborda los acontecimientos recientes en los EE. UU. y la UE, incluida la estrategia de polÃtica comercial de los EE. UU. hacia China, asà como la reforma del TLCAN. En su parte sobre las instituciones, EYIEL 10 se centra, entre otras cosas, en el papel del Estado de derecho en relación con las prácticas actuales del Fondo Monetario Internacional y del Órgano de Apelación de la OMC como tribunal internacional. Además, proporciona una visión general de los casos actuales ante la OMC. Finalmente, el volumen incluye una sección con ensayos de revisión de libros publicados recientemente en el campo del derecho económico internacional y el derecho internacional de inversiones. . |
