Las fronteras son estructuras esencialmente imaginarias, pero sus efectos son muy reales. Este volumen explora fronteras tanto geopolíticas como conceptuales a través de una lente interdisciplinaria, uniendo las disciplinas de la filosofía y la literatura. Con contribuciones de académicos de todo el mundo, esta colección examina de cerca los conceptos de raza, nacionalidad, género y sexualidad para revelar las ambigüedades paradójicas inherentes a estas oposiciones binarias aparentemente sólidas, al tiempo que critica las estructuras de poder que producen y controlan estas fronteras. Como paradigma político, la liminalidad puede ser adoptada por sujetos y comunidades marginales, desdibujando aún más los límites entre distinciones y categorías opresivas. |
