Resumen:	Este libro constituye las actas arbitradas de dos talleres internacionales celebrados como eventos paralelos de la 16.ª Conferencia Internacional IFIP WG 12.5 sobre Aplicaciones e Innovaciones de Inteligencia Artificial, AIAI 2020, en Neos Marmaras, Grecia, en junio de 2020: el 9.º Taller de Datos Humanísticos Mineros, MHDW. 2020, y el 5.º Taller sobre 5G-Putting Intelligence to the Network Edge, 5G-PINE 2020.* Los 6 artículos completos y 3 artículos breves presentados en MHDW 2020 fueron cuidadosamente revisados ​​y seleccionados entre 16 presentaciones; De los 23 artículos presentados a 5G-PINE 2020, 11 fueron aceptados como artículos completos y 1 como artículo breve. Los artículos del MHDW se centran en temas como sistemas de recomendación, análisis de sentimientos, reconocimiento de patrones, minería de datos y series temporales.
