Este libro constituye las actas arbitradas de seis talleres internacionales celebrados como eventos paralelos de la 17.ª Conferencia Internacional IFIP WG 12.5 sobre Aplicaciones e Innovaciones de Inteligencia Artificial, AIAI 2021, virtualmente y en Hersonissos, Creta, Grecia, en junio de 2021: el 6.º Taller sobre 5G. -Llevar la Inteligencia al Borde de la Red, 5G-PINE 2021; Taller de Inteligencia Artificial en IngenierÃa Biomédica e Informática, AI-BIO 2021; Taller sobre Aplicaciones de la IA en Defensa, DAAI 2021; Taller de IA distribuida para plataformas con recursos limitados, DARE 2021; Taller de Eficiencia Energética e Inteligencia Artificial, EEAI 2021; y el 10º Taller de Datos HumanÃsticos Mineros, MHDW 2021. Los 24 artÃculos completos y 16 artÃculos breves presentados en estos talleres fueron cuidadosamente revisados ​​y seleccionados entre 72 presentaciones. Los artÃculos presentados en 5G-PINE se centran en las últimas aplicaciones de IA en la industria de las telecomunicaciones y la IA en infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones modernas orientadas a 5G.
