La ritidoplastia es un procedimiento paliativo en el que se eliminan quirúrgicamente las arrugas del rostro para promover una apariencia más juvenil. Este libro, escrito por especialistas líderes de Brasil y del exterior, aborda una amplia variedad de temas relacionados con el rejuvenecimiento facial. Las primeras secciones se centran en la planificación quirúrgica, incluidas las consideraciones psicológicas, la preparación del paciente y los cambios anatómicos y bioquímicos causados por el proceso de envejecimiento. También describe la anatomía quirúrgica de la frente, la cara, el cuello y los párpados. La tercera sección proporciona una visión general completa de las técnicas básicas del lifting facial con detalles de los abordajes quirúrgicos refinados para cada segmento de la cara y el cuello. Destaca las técnicas de liposucción, lipoinyección y transferencia de células madre, mostrando su importancia en la remodelación de los contornos faciales.
