Título : Análisis entre ansiedad precompetitiva, estrés percibido y estrategias de afrontamiento en deportistas de trail running. Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Zúñiga Cruz, Jazmín Sirley, Autor ; González López, Erika Andrea, Autor ; Londoño Valencia, Alejandro, Asesor Editorial: Manizales [Colombia] : Universidad de Manizales* Fecha de publicación: 2025 Colección: RiDUM - Tesis y Disertaciones - Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas Subcolección: Maestría en Psicologia Clínica Palabras clave: Psicología clínica Psicología del deporte Ansiedad precompetitiva Rendimiento deportivo Trail running Resumen: This study analyzed the relationship between pre-competition anxiety, perceived stress, and coping strategies used by trail runners in Colombia. It used a quantitative, correlational, and inferential approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 16 intermediate- and high-performance runners, selected through purposive non-probability sampling. Three validated instruments were used for data collection: the Sports Coping Strategies Scale (EEC-M), the Perceived Stress Scale (EEP-10), and the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2R (CSAI-2R). The results showed that 50% of participants presented mild levels of perceived stress, while 25% reported moderate levels and 25% high levels. Regarding pre-competition anxiety, low cognitive and somatic anxiety predominated, accompanied by high levels of self-confidence. A moderate positive correlation was observed between cognitive and somatic anxiety (r = 0.547), and a negative correlation between cognitive anxiety and self-confidence (r = -0.581). The most frequent coping strategies were aggressive reaction (25%), seeking social support (18.75%), and religious coping (18.75%), suggesting a predominance of reactive responses to pre-competition stress. These findings indicate that trail runners generally maintain adequate emotional control and solid self-confidence, which are protective factors against competitive stress. However, the presence of moderate and high levels of stress in half of the participants highlights the importance of including psychological intervention programs aimed at strengthening emotional self-regulation and promoting more adaptive coping strategies. It is concluded that psychological training, along with physical and technical training, is essential for optimal performance and the overall well-being of mountain athletes. Título : Análisis cualitativo de vivencias de pacientes con diagnóstico de Cáncer Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Restrepo, Sáchico, Autor ; Gómez Henao, Yuli Vanesa, Autor ; Aguirre Alvarez, Nathalia, Asesor Editorial: Manizales [Colombia] : Universidad de Manizales* Fecha de publicación: 2025 Colección: RiDUM - Tesis y Disertaciones - Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas Subcolección: Maestría en Psicologia Clínica Palabras clave: Psicología clínica Pacientes con cáncer Pacientes terminales Pacientes terminales - Calidad de vida Resumen: The objective is to know what the experiences of adults with a cancer diagnosis are like and their relationship with emotional stress. This is qualitative research with a grounded theory design. 21 adults participated, including men and women with various types of cancer, in active status and in remission, from the city of Manizales and La Dorada Caldas. The data was collected through an in-depth interview in which the participants recounted their experiences in a genuine manner and the results showed that, just as stress is present in all stages of the disease: receiving the diagnosis, treatment and remission, spirituality and/or faith are also present, as a coping strategy that contributed to mitigating emotional pain, which allows us to conclude that, from experience, pain acquires meaning and leads to positive changes and life lessons. The research was conducted using a quantitative, correlational, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The Gordon Personality Profile and Inventory, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-14), and the COPE Questionnaire were used to assess the main variables. The results showed that most participants presented mild to moderate levels of stress, and that the most frequently used strategies were active coping, acceptance, and planning, reflecting an adaptive pattern focused on problem-solving. Regarding personality traits, emotional stability, vitality, and conscientiousness stood out. Logistic regression analyses indicated that personality traits (p = 0.019) and coping strategies (p = 0.040) significantly influence perceived stress, while age and sex did not show relevant effects. It is concluded that personality and coping mechanisms act as protective factors against distress, promoting psychological well-being and resilience in the fire service context. It is suggested that psychoeducational programs be implemented to strengthen personal resources and promote adaptive stress management in emergency response teams. Título : Autolesiones en jóvenes universitarios sobrevivientes al suicido, abordando experiencias en el Cauca Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Bolaños López, Marly Yineth, Autor ; Hurtado Ordoñez , Liceth Camila, Autor ; Restrepo Soto, Jaime Alberto, Asesor Editorial: Manizales [Colombia] : Universidad de Manizales* Fecha de publicación: 2026 Colección: RiDUM - Tesis y Disertaciones - Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas Subcolección: Maestría en Psicologia Clínica Palabras clave: Psicología clínica Jóvenes universitarios Autolesión Suicidio Salud mental Psicoterapia Resumen: Self-harm is a public health problem that particularly affects university students and is related to experiences of emotional distress, academic pressure, and coping difficulties. Regarding this issue, the present study aimed to understand the meanings attributed to self-harm. This study examines self-harm in young university students who have survived suicide attempts, exploring the emotions and thoughts that precede it, the processes of emotional recovery, and the triggers that originate it. It was conducted using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, employing semistructured interviews and testimonial narratives with six students from the University of Cauca. The results show that self-harm is configured as an emotional regulation and self-punishment strategy in response to feelings of sadness, emptiness, loneliness, and academic failure. Furthermore, it was identified that recovery processes are mediated by the construction of meaning in life, the support of significant relationships, and the incorporation of protective practices, particularly sports and the arts. The conclusion highlights the need to address self-harm in university students from a comprehensive perspective that considers emotional, contextual, and cultural factors, promoting prevention, support, and resilience strategies within the academic setting. Título : Autorreferencia y cambio en la terapia sistémica: una mirada autopoiética de la psicología clínica. Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Giraldo Tabares, Margarita María, Autor ; Niño Rojas, Julio Abel, Asesor Editorial: Manizales [Colombia] : Universidad de Manizales* Fecha de publicación: 2025 Colección: RiDUM - Tesis y Disertaciones - Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas Subcolección: Maestría en Psicologia Clínica Palabras clave: Psicología clínica Terapia sistémica Autorreferencia Resumen: The present research/intervention was implemented in the Psychiatric Hospital in Filandia-Quindío, taking a case to observe the self-referential processes, the change and autopoiesis of the systems, with a person who is interned in a unit of comprehensive care for addictive behaviors, as well as the treating professionals and the family. Through the application of a protocol designed by the authors, the emergence of change seen from authors such as Watzlawick, Marutana and Varela, Boscolo, Bateson, among others, through the paradigm systemic intervention in clinical psychology is realized. The intervention answers the following questions: What kind of changes emerge in the consulting systems in a self-referential therapeutic process with
interventions from autopoiesis in clinical psychology? and in the research, what is the contribution of the articulation of self-reference and change in a relational context of systemic therapy, explained from autopoiesis? As results, it is identified that the self-referential processes of the professionals, the family and the identified patient, configure a network of conversations and articulate their myths and needs, in which the definition of the change is defined as successful, as long as the symptom disappears;from this research-intervention, the Hospital is an
open system by articulating with families and networks, configuring the context as an autopoietic ecology.
