| Resumen: |
This work focuses on Aotus lemurinus, a vulnerable, nocturnal, and very elusive species that inhabits the ecological trail of the University of Manizales. Its diet is based mainly on ripe fruits, although it is complemented with arthropods, nectar, flowers, and young leaves. The night monkey is an important seed disperser, and it has also been recorded as a potential pollinator of some plant species. Its main risks include electrocution, dog attacks, and low genetic diversity, among others. Based on this species, the research seeks to show how narrative, communication, and environmental journalism can contribute to its conservation in urban contexts. |
