This implies that this paper seeks to contribute to the legal recognition of the children and teenagers of this community, as established by the Colombian Constitution, laws, and jurisprudence. At this point is important to remember that, sadly, indigenous children and teenagers continue to be one of the most vulnerable groups within their communities: they face situations of threat to or violation of their rights, especially in contexts of sexual violence. This means strengthening the legal protection for children and teenagers according to an ethnical approach, without disregarding the primacy of children's rights, as established in Article 44 of the Constitution. Therefore, this research aims to endeavor the comprehensive protection of the rights of Indigenous children and teenagers within their own context, while respecting existing constitutional norms.
