| Resumen: |
Financial resilience has emerged as a rapidly expanding yet conceptually fragmented field, spanning studies on households, firms, supply chains, financial systems, and territorial development. Despite its growing relevance in contexts marked by recurrent economic, social, and geopolitical shocks, there is still limited understanding of how this body of knowledge has evolved, which actors and sources have shaped it, and what thematic trajectories currently define its intellectual structure. In response to this gap, this study examines the scientific production on financial resilience through a bibliometric analysis of documents indexed in Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection. Using the search equation Finan* AND Resilience in the title field, the study identified an initial set of records that, after integration and deduplication, resulted in a final corpus of 1018 unique documents. The analysis combines scientific performance indicators with relational mapping and Tree of Science to reconstruct the field’s evolution, leading actors, collaboration patterns, and dominant thematic configurations. The findings show that financial resilience has experienced accelerated growth, especially in recent years, although with uneven levels of intellectual consolidation. The field is structured as a polycentric and multiscalar domain, organized around three major thematic areas: household financial resilience and financial literacy, supply chain resilience and firm performance, and digital finance linked to regional economic
