Se analizan las tres perspectivas para comprender estas interacciones: los posibles mecanismos subyacentes a ellas, la manifestación de las interacciones de la metacognición con el afecto en la autorregulación y la corregulación en contextos sociales y educativos, y los cambios durante el desarrollo en niños pequeños y adultos mayores. Este volumen es un homenaje a la profesora emérita Anastasia Efklides, quien estuvo entre las pioneras en investigar y argumentar la importancia de las interacciones entre metacognición y afecto.
