Resumen:	Este libro incluye 58 artículos seleccionados que destacan las principales contribuciones de la profesora Radha Charan Gupta, una decana de la historia de las matemáticas, escritas sobre una variedad de temas importantes relacionados con las matemáticas y la astronomía en la India. Está dividido en diez partes. La parte I presenta tres artículos que ofrecen una visión general de la obra del profesor Gupta. Los cuatro artículos de la Parte II transmiten la importancia de los estudios de historia de las matemáticas. Las partes III a VII, que constituyen 33 artículos, presentan una serie de artículos sobre una variedad de temas, como geometría, trigonometría, álgebra, combinatoria y trigonometría esférica, que no solo revelan la amplitud y profundidad del trabajo del profesor Gupta, sino que también resaltan su profunda compromiso con la promoción de los estudios de historia de las matemáticas. Los diez artículos de la parte VIII presentan interesantes reseñas bibliográficas de algunos historiadores veteranos de las matemáticas y la astronomía en la India.
