Este volumen investiga vías epistemológicas alternativas por las que puede avanzar la producción de conocimiento en África. Los autores, utilizando diferentes dinámicas intelectuales, exploran el dominio epistemológico actual de Occidente (desde la arquitectura hasta el discurso de género, desde la gestión medioambiental hasta la gobernanza democrática) y ofrecen argumentos distintos y únicos que desafían la denigración de los diferentes y diferentes modos de conocimiento que Occidente consideraba "bárbaros" y "primitivos". Por lo tanto, este volumen constituye un gesto mínimo que contribuye aún más al discurso en curso sobre los modos alternativos de conocimiento en África. |
