Este libro ofrece la base científica para una amplia evaluación del manejo de tierras baldías en la India y algunas regiones circundantes. Examina los procesos que operan en las cabeceras y canales principales de ríos efímeros en ambientes lateríticos de la India. En particular, el libro cubre una variedad de temas vitales en las áreas de erosión de barrancos y erosión de agua a suelo en regiones de tierras altas lateríticas de la India y otras regiones de Asia. Explora el modelado probable de erosión de barrancos a través de técnicas de teledetección y SIG. Está dividido en tres unidades. La Unidad I trata sobre la introducción de badland, los tipos de badland y el proceso de formación de badland. La Unidad II está dedicada a la descripción de medidas cuantitativas. La Unidad III aborda los procesos de control y gestión relacionados con diversos temas de diferentes regiones. Como tal, este libro sirve como libro de referencia para las actividades de investigación en esta área. Es una guía eficaz para los aspirantes a investigadores en geografía aplicada, que explica técnicas avanzadas para ayudar a los estudiantes a reconocer conceptos tanto simples como complejos. |
