Resumen:	Este libro presenta a los lectores los últimos avances en relación con las heridas por lesión por presión, las heridas por diabetes y la terapia de heridas por presión negativa. La primera parte trata exclusivamente de las heridas por úlceras por presión, describiendo detalladamente su prevención, clasificación y tratamiento. A su vez, los capítulos que abordan las heridas de la diabetes forman la parte central del libro. Aquí, los autores brindan orientación sobre la medicación y el tratamiento (p. ej., células madre, láser) de los pacientes que padecen esta enfermedad. La última parte del libro, que se centra en la terapia de heridas con presión negativa, aborda todos los aspectos principales de este enfoque, reflejando las últimas investigaciones.
