Este libro trata sobre el tratamiento de heridas en cirugía plástica, ortopedia, oftalmología y cirugía torácica. La primera parte proporciona información sobre los últimos avances en cirugía ortopédica, mientras que la segunda aborda la oftalmología y las heridas después de, por ejemplo, una cirugía de cataratas o queratopatía. La tercera parte, que se centra exclusivamente en las heridas en cirugía plástica, destaca los resultados recientes tras procedimientos microquirúrgicos y reconstrucción de queloides, pero también tras reconstrucción mamaria y lesiones de extremidades. Por último, la parte de cirugía torácica informa al lector sobre las técnicas de esternotomía y sus posibles complicaciones. Dado su enfoque interdisciplinario, este libro ofrece un recurso valioso no sólo para los cirujanos plásticos, sino también para los oftalmólogos, cirujanos torácicos y cirujanos ortopédicos. |
