Este libro examina y analiza los desafÃos que enfrentan los programas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) y el desarrollo sostenible en la práctica de la gestión global. Examina la dicotomÃa de una demanda general y popular de una gestión responsable y resiliente, y los contrapartidas que inciden en el efecto positivo de tales esfuerzos. El libro reúne las últimas investigaciones que analizan las causas fundamentales de esta oposición y nuevos estudios de casos que muestran el dilema y las posibles soluciones para superarlo. En general, el libro yuxtapone el cortoplacismo dentro de los programas de RSE y el desarrollo sostenible a largo plazo, la mala asignación de recursos y las promesas fallidas asociadas con la RSE, y esboza caminos para dirigir la RSE y el desarrollo sostenible hacia los problemas más apremiantes. |
