| Resumen: |
Existe una creciente conciencia de que la religión desempeña un papel importante en el desarrollo, particularmente en el Sur Global. Mientras que las teorías de la secularización suponían que la religión desaparecería, la realidad es que la religión ha demostrado su tenacidad. En el caso específico de Zimbabwe, la religión ha seguido siendo una fuerza social positiva y ha hecho una contribución significativa al desarrollo, particularmente a través del Consejo de Iglesias de Zimbabwe. Esto ha sido a través del activismo político, la contribución a la salud, la educación, la emancipación de las mujeres y la reconstrucción ética. Este volumen analiza la contribución del Consejo de Iglesias de Zimbabwe al desarrollo del país. |
