Este libro proporciona información sistemática sobre el lichi y herramientas modernas para promover su crecimiento y desarrollo sostenible. Incluye capítulos dedicados a la evolución y diversificación del lichi, destaca su composición genética y factores exógenos recíprocos, abordando el estrecho acervo genético y la falta de biodiversidad natural. También analiza cuestiones relacionadas con las pérdidas poscosecha y enfoques sólidos a nivel comercial.
