La cirugía del manguito rotador es actualmente el procedimiento quirúrgico más común que afecta al hombro. Desafortunadamente, a pesar de los importantes avances técnicos, todavía existe una tasa significativa de fracaso de la reparación primaria del manguito rotador, que oscila entre el 10% y el 40%. Este libro describe el diagnóstico, clasificación, evaluación y tratamiento de las reparaciones fallidas del manguito rotador. También explora la etiología de las reparaciones fallidas, presenta una serie de opciones de tratamiento y analiza las complicaciones. En un formato multidisciplinario, aborda cómo prevenir fallas y cómo diagnosticar y manejar la falla del manguito rotador, incluyendo imágenes, pruebas de laboratorio, nutrición, cirugía y rehabilitación. Este libro completo, publicado en colaboración con ISAKOS, atrae a todos los interesados en la medicina y cirugía ortopédicas. |
