Además, analiza varios instrumentos que han buscado mitigar las violaciones de derechos humanos mediante la definición de obligaciones relacionadas con la transparencia y derechos de participación. Estos incluyen la Iniciativa para la Transparencia de las Industrias Extractivas (EITI), los requisitos de divulgación y el consentimiento libre, previo e informado (CLPI).
