Centrándose en los tres temas principales Innovación, Unicidad y Evidencia, el libro aborda una amplia gama de temas, que incluyen: Ciencias Biomedicolegales y Criminológicas, Patología y Antropología Forense, Medicina Clínica y Forense en Personas Vivas (desde la Violencia Interpersonal hasta las Lesiones Personales y Daños, Malas Prácticas, Identificación Personal y Estimación de Edad), Genética y Genómica Forense, y Toxicología e Imagenología. La unitaridad de las "Ciencias Biomedicolegales", históricamente fundadas en la exactitud y el rigor de los métodos de verificación y de los criterios de evaluación, debe restablecerse sobre la base de la evidencia molecular y utilizarse para promover la Justicia Personalizada.
