Resumen:	Los artículos de investigación y revisión presentados en este volumen brindan una visión general de los principales temas, hallazgos y preguntas abiertas en la investigación de vanguardia en los campos del modelado, la optimización y la dinámica y sus aplicaciones a la biología, la economía, la energía, las finanzas, la industria, física y psicología. Dada la relevancia científica de las aplicaciones innovadoras y las cuestiones emergentes que abordan, las contribuciones a este volumen, escritas por algunos de los principales expertos mundiales en matemáticas, economía y otras ciencias aplicadas, serán fundamentales para futuros desarrollos de investigación y estimularán futuros trabajos y colaboraciones.
