Desde la introducción de la iniciativa One Belt, One Road (OBOR), propuesta por primera vez a finales de 2013, los académicos internacionales han comenzado a estudiar esta nueva política y sus implicaciones en la era global. Si bien OBOR ofrece nuevas oportunidades para China en términos de cooperación regional y desarrollo global, muchos también plantean preocupaciones sobre las intenciones de China de utilizar medios económicos para lograr objetivos estratégicos y de política exterior. Provenientes de Occidente y Oriente, los autores reflexionan sobre los amplios impactos de OBOR en países, regiones, políticas económicas y consideraciones geopolíticas específicas. Este volumen editado, que incluye investigaciones teóricas y estudios empíricos que exploran oportunidades y desafíos relacionados con OBOR, permitirá a los lectores obtener una comprensión más completa de esta ambiciosa empresa y su impacto a largo plazo en el resto del mundo. |
