Este Manual presenta el estado del arte de la investigación actual sobre estudios de anticipación. Desarrolla la anticipación tanto desde el punto de vista teórico como aplicado. A través de esta visión general integral de la investigación sobre la anticipación, este Manual deja claro que la anticipación es un tema de investigación serio que puede y debe conectarse con la investigación, las perspectivas y la orientación de los Estudios del Futuro. El Manual utiliza el punto de vista anticipatorio como un marco unificador capaz de detener la progresiva fragmentación de las ciencias humanas y sociales e iniciar un proceso destinado a una integración cada vez más estrecha, el conocimiento mutuo y el diálogo entre las ciencias humanas y sociales. Establece la agenda para el campo, ayuda a que los estudios del futuro alcancen la mayoría de edad y contribuye a cambiar la orientación de las ciencias humanas y sociales de su orientación dominante hacia el pasado a una nueva orientación hacia el futuro. El Manual presenta investigaciones de una variedad de campos como: biología, ecología, psicología, ciencias sociales, humanidades, ingeniería e informática. El consejo editorial está formado por académicos de diversas ciencias, como futuristas, sociólogos, economistas, estadísticos, informáticos, diseñadores y creadores de juegos. |
