Spontaneous pneumomediastinum (SP) is a clinical entity characterized by the presence of interstitial air in the mediastinum. The purpose of this study was to further examine a rare SP case in a 60-year-old male, with COVID-19. In conclusion, SP is an uncommoncomplication in COVID-19, and the recognition of clinicalcharacteristics is crucial since early identification plays a significantrole in the maintenance or recovery of the disease. |
