The proposal integrated virtual rewards (Carbocoins), badges, and activities divided into levels, combining synchronous and asynchronous work. The results show high performance in reflective and practical tasks and some opportunities for improvement in automatic assessments. Gamification promoted motivation, connecting learning to everyday life. In summary, gamification applied in a planned manner is an effective and replicable tool for innovating chemistry teaching.
