Este libro se centra en la interrelación entre la conectividad y la identidad de los estudiantes internacionales desde perspectivas transnacionales y transdisciplinarias. Aborda las cuestiones centrales en torno a la conectividad física y virtual de los estudiantes internacionales con personas, lugares y comunidades, así como las condiciones que dan forma a su conectividad transnacional y la formación de su identidad. Además, analiza la naturaleza, la diversidad y la complejidad de la conectividad y el desarrollo de la identidad de los estudiantes internacionales a través de diferentes fronteras nacionales, sociales y culturales. "Los estudiantes internacionales habitan un espacio complejo en el que las movilidades y las conectividades transnacionales definen la dinámica cultural de sus experiencias, así como su sentido de identidad, sus expectativas y aspiraciones. Este libro reúne un conjunto de artículos muy perceptivos y reflexivos, escritos por académicos tanto emergentes como establecidos, que abren nuevos caminos en la forma en que podemos entender las formas en que los estudiantes internacionales trabajan dentro y fuera de las fronteras nacionales, las tradiciones y la política".
