El libro ofrece una visión general intensiva sobre el ejercicio para la prevención y el tratamiento de enfermedades cardiovasculares, desde la investigación básica hasta la práctica clínica. En primer lugar, el volumen resume la respuesta aguda y crónica al ejercicio.
