Resumen:	Este libro se centra en la teoría y aplicación de la "teoría de la perspectiva temporal". La perspectiva temporal puede ser un factor importante para determinar el bienestar psicológico y la forma en que vemos nuestro mundo y los que nos rodean. La naturaleza contemporánea única de la evolución de esta teoría ha despertado un gran interés en los últimos 20 años. Los editores respondieron a este interés reuniendo a colaboradores de una multitud de temas y perspectivas para facilitar una discusión sin precedentes sobre el tema; cubriendo áreas como salud financiera, psicoterapia durante la edad adulta y la vejez, pasado prenatal, metacognición, comunidad y cambio, miedo al crimen y motivaciones intrínsecas. La naturaleza interdisciplinaria de este proyecto lo hace de interés para una amplia muestra representativa de académicos y profesionales, incluidos psicólogos, trabajadores sociales, criminólogos y cualquier persona que haya adoptado o desee adoptar una teorización de la perspectiva temporal para ayudarlos en su comprensión.
