Este libro se centra en las amenazas mundiales a los bosques de manglares y las soluciones de gestión que se utilizan actualmente para contrarrestar esos peligros. Diseñado para profesionales o especialistas en ciencias marinas, gestión de zonas costeras, biología y disciplinas relacionadas, este trabajo atraerá a quienes no solo trabajan para proteger los bosques de manglares, sino también las áreas costeras circundantes de todo tipo. Se extraen ejemplos de muchas áreas geográficas diferentes, incluidas América del Norte y del Sur, India y el Sudeste Asiático.
