Resumen:	Este volumen arroja nueva luz sobre el papel de las víctimas después de la violencia. Las víctimas son actores centrales en la justicia transicional, las políticas de la memoria y la resolución de conflictos, pero se ha descuidado el análisis de su movilización e influencia política en estos procesos. Después de presentar y explicar las razones de este interés limitado, los capítulos del libro se centran en una variedad de entornos y recurren a diferentes disciplinas para ofrecer ideas sobre los temas interrelacionados de la victimización: las víctimas, sus identidades individuales y colectivas, y su papel e impacto sobre la victimización. sociedades posconflicto –y las políticas del victimismo–, es decir, cómo se define, negocia y cuestiona el victimismo, tanto social como políticamente.
