Las marismas mesopotámicas son importantes por sus valores económicos, sociales y de biodiversidad y han sido el hogar de comunidades humanas indígenas durante milenios. Se consideran un sitio legendario. Este libro de varios autores contiene capítulos escritos por expertos de renombre mundial en su campo.
