Este conjunto de dos volúmenes LNCS 12194 y 12195 constituye las actas arbitradas de la 12.ª Conferencia Internacional sobre Computación Social y Redes Sociales, SCSM 2020, celebrada como parte de la 22.ª Conferencia Internacional, HCI International 2020, que estaba prevista para celebrarse en Copenhague. Dinamarca, en julio de 2020. La conferencia se realizó de manera virtual debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. Se aceptó un total de 1439 artÃculos y 238 carteles para su publicación en las actas de HCII 2020 de un total de 6326 presentaciones. SCSM 2020 incluye un total de 93 artÃculos organizados en secciones temáticas denominadas: Problemas de diseño en informática social, ética y desinformación en las redes sociales, comportamiento del usuario y análisis de redes sociales, participación y colaboración en comunidades en lÃnea, informática social y experiencia del usuario, redes sociales.
