Este libro incluye contribuciones del Simposio sobre Fundamentos de Procesamiento de Materiales celebrado en la Reunión y Exposición Anual de TMS 2019 en San Antonio, Texas. En este volumen se presentan contribuciones sobre el modelado teórico y numérico de minerales, metales y procesamiento de materiales. Los autores presentan modelos y resultados relacionados con los conceptos básicos del procesamiento como extracción, unión, separación y fundición. Se abordan los fundamentos correspondientes del transporte de masa y calor, asà como las propiedades fÃsicas y termodinámicas, lo que permite una visión interdisciplinaria del procesamiento de materiales. |
