Este manual internacional ofrece un sofisticado reexamen de la investigación sobre el autoestudio de la enseñanza y las prácticas de formación docente 16 años después de la publicación de la primera edición por Springer (2004). A través de seis secciones, ofrece una extensa revisión internacional de la investigación y las prácticas examinando cuestiones crÃticas en el campo del autoestudio actual. Ellos son: (1) Fundamentos del autoestudio, (2) Métodos y metodologÃas de autoestudio, (3) Autoestudio y enseñanza y formación docente para la justicia social, (4) Autoestudio en disciplinas temáticas, (5) Autoestudio en la formación docente y más allá, y (6) Autoestudio en culturas e idiomas.
