Este libro se centra en cuestiones claves actuales de la seguridad internacional desde un enfoque centrado en los actores. El volumen está dividido en tres secciones: la primera parte analiza una serie de cuestiones de seguridad en Europa, la segunda explora cómo se desarrollan esas cuestiones de seguridad en América y la tercera se centra en África. Cada uno de los autores del capítulo describe las ideas, intereses e instituciones relevantes. El volumen proporciona una visión general de cómo los actores globales, regionales y nacionales difieren en sus enfoques de gestión, niveles de capacidad y cómo estas diferencias se traducen en cooperación interregional en cuestiones de seguridad. Paweł Frankowski es profesor asistente en el Instituto de Ciencias Políticas y Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Jagellónica. This book focuses on current key issues of international security from an actor-centered approach. The volume is divided into 3 sections: the first part analyses an array of security issues in Europe, the second one explores how those security issues play out in Americas and the third focuses on Africa. Each of the chapter authors outlines the relevant ideas, interests and institutions. The volume provides an overview of how global, regional, and national actors, differ in their management approaches, capacity levels, and how these differences translate into cross-regional cooperation on security issues.
