La medicina de cuidados intensivos es responsable de muchos de los avances más importantes en los resultados después de la cirugÃa cardiotorácica en las últimas dos décadas. La experiencia desarrollada en esta subespecialidad explica la resiliencia que caracteriza los resultados estándar de oro evidentes en instituciones reconocidas por su excelencia. Este volumen tiene como objetivo compartir ideas y algoritmos que mejorarán los resultados en las unidades de cuidados intensivos cardiotorácicos.
