Este libro de acceso abierto ofrece una perspectiva europea completa sobre el concepto de edadismo, sus orígenes, la manifestación y las consecuencias del edadismo, así como las formas de responder e investigar el edadismo. El libro representa un esfuerzo colaborativo de investigadores de más de 20 países y una variedad de disciplinas, entre ellas, psicología, sociología, gerontología, geriatría, farmacología, derecho, geografía, diseño, ingeniería, políticas y estudios de medios. Los colaboradores han colaborado para producir un libro verdaderamente estimulante y educativo sobre el edadismo que ofrece una visión general clara del estado del arte en el campo.
