Este volumen adopta un marco contextual que explora el riesgo, el maltrato, el bienestar y la protección de los niños en diversos grupos en Israel. Incorpora los hallazgos de siete estudios de caso realizados en el Invernadero NEVET de Investigación y Capacitación Contextualizada para Niños Necesitados de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén. Cada estudio de caso aplica un enfoque basado en el contexto para el estudio de las perspectivas de riesgo y protección entre padres, niños y profesionales de diferentes comunidades de Israel, utilizando diversas metodologías cualitativas. El volumen analiza la importancia de estudiar las perspectivas de los niños y los padres en sociedades diversas y enfatiza la necesidad de una perspectiva informada por el contexto al diseñar programas de prevención e intervención para niños en riesgo y sus familias que viven en sociedades diversas. Explora además la posible contribución a la teoría, la investigación, la práctica, las políticas y la capacitación en el área del maltrato infantil. |
