Recoge los trabajos presentados en la 9ª Conferencia Internacional sobre Redes Complejas (CompleNet) 2018 en Boston, MA en marzo de 2018. Con raÃces en las ciencias fÃsicas, de la información y sociales, el estudio de redes complejas proporciona un conjunto formal de métodos matemáticos, computacionales. Herramientas y teorÃas para describir, prescribir y predecir dinámicas y comportamientos de sistemas complejos. A pesar de su diversidad, ya sea que los sistemas estén compuestos de redes fÃsicas, tecnológicas, informativas o sociales, comparten muchos principios organizativos comunes y, por lo tanto, pueden estudiarse con enfoques similares. Las últimas dos décadas han sido testigos de un aumento exponencial en el número de publicaciones dentro de este campo. Desde los sistemas biológicos hasta la informática, desde los sistemas económicos hasta los sociales, las redes complejas se están volviendo omnipresentes en muchos campos de la ciencia. Es esta naturaleza interdisciplinaria de las redes complejas lo que CompleNet pretende abordar. En las últimas décadas se ha visto el surgimiento de redes complejas como lenguaje con el que se puede describir y comprender adecuadamente una amplia gama de fenómenos complejos en campos tan diversos como la fÃsica, la informática y la medicina (por nombrar algunos).
