El libro es único al mostrar conocimientos actualizados para el mundo en desarrollo. Los capÃtulos están relacionados con: a) el desarrollo y mejora de un modelo climático regional para una predicción más precisa y con mayor resolución de cambios futuros en el clima regional, b) la estructura de la gestión de la tierra y el agua en los sistemas de producción agrÃcola en zonas áridas, especialmente evaluar cuantitativamente las relaciones entre los sistemas de cultivo, el ciclo hidrológico y el equilibrio hÃdrico en las tierras agrÃcolas y sus entornos, c) la evaluación del impacto del cambio climático y su adaptación en los sistemas de producción agrÃcola, principalmente en el aspecto de la gestión de la tierra y el agua, y d ) la vulnerabilidad de los sistemas de producción agrÃcola a los cambios naturales y las medidas para mejorar la sostenibilidad de la agricultura. Este libro profundiza en las metodologÃas para la evaluación de los impactos del cambio climático en la producción agrÃcola y la adaptación. En este libro, se describen los conceptos y procesos de un enfoque integrado y se presenta su aplicación en un proyecto de caso.
