Este libro arroja nueva luz sobre el enfoque biográfico en la historia de la física al incluir biografías de objetos, instituciones y conceptos científicos. ¿Qué es una biografía? ¿Se pueden escribir también biografías de sujetos no humanos como instrumentos, instituciones o conceptos científicos? Los respectivos capítulos de este libro analizan estas cuestiones controvertidas utilizando ejemplos de la historia de la física. Al abordar la biografía como metáfora, trasciende los límites entre varias perspectivas de la historia de la física y enriquece nuestra comprensión del pasado. . |
