Este amplio trabajo celebra las contribuciones de Roger Griffin a los estudios sobre el fascismo (en términos conceptuales y definitorios, pero también en el avance de nuestra comprensión del fascismo) que han informado investigaciones relacionadas en varios campos y direcciones desde la década de 1990. El libro, que reúne a tres "generaciones" de estudiosos del fascismo, ofrece una combinación de amplios ensayos conceptuales y contribuciones centradas en temas y facetas particulares del fascismo. El libro presenta capítulos que, aunque diversos en sus enfoques, exploran el trabajo de Griffin y al mismo tiempo interactúan críticamente con otras escuelas de pensamiento. Como tal, identifica nuevas vías de investigación en los estudios del fascismo, ubicando el trabajo de Griffin en el contexto de voces nuevas y emergentes en este campo. Constantin Iordachi es profesor de Historia en la Universidad Centroeuropea (Hungría) y presidente de la Asociación Internacional de Estudios Fascistas Comparados. Ha publicado numerosas publicaciones sobre historia comparada en Europa central y sudoriental, principalmente sobre ciudadanía, historia del fascismo y estudios comparativos del comunismo. Aristóteles Kallis es profesor de Historia Moderna y Contemporánea en la Universidad de Keele, Reino Unido. This wide-ranging work celebrates Roger Griffin's contributions to fascism studies – in conceptual and definitional terms, but also in advancing our understanding of fascism – which have informed related research in a number of fields and directions since the 1990s. Bringing together three 'generations' of fascism scholars, the book offers a combination of broad conceptual essays and contributions focusing on particular themes and facets of fascism. The book features chapters, which, although diverse in their approaches, explore Griffin's work while also engaging critically with other schools of thought. As such, it identifies new avenues of research in fascism studies, placing Griffin's work within the context of new and emerging voices in the field. Constantin Iordachi is a Professor of History at Central European University, Hungary, and President of the International Association for Comparative Fascist Studies. He has published widely on comparative history in Central and Southeastern Europe, mostly on citizenship, the history of fascism, and comparative studies of communism. Aristotle Kallis is a Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at Keele University, UK. He has published extensively in the fields of generic and comparative/transnational fascism, with a focus on ideology, violence, architecture and urban planning, and propaganda.
