Este atlas, que combina ecografÃas de alta calidad con texto explicativo claro y conciso, incluye representaciones de diversas afecciones de la tiroides, con y sin marcas indicativas. Cada hallazgo ecográfico se muestra dos veces, seis figuras por página: la imagen de la izquierda es una figura nativa sin marcas; la imagen de la derecha muestra hallazgos marcados. De esta forma, los lectores tienen la oportunidad de ver la imagen nativa para valorarla por sà mismos y luego corregir su opinión, si es necesario. Este atlas comprende cinco secciones, que incluyen la tiroides normal, las lesiones tiroideas difusas, las lesiones tanto benignas como maliciosas (incluidos varios carcinomas) y hallazgos raros. Atlas of Thyroid Ultrasonography, que incluye casi 1500 exploraciones por ultrasonido y cubre una variedad de afecciones de la tiroides, será una referencia clave para endocrinólogos, radiólogos y médicos de atención primaria, residentes y becarios que tratan a pacientes con problemas de tiroides. |

Each ultrasound finding is displayed twice, six figures per page: The left-hand image is a native figure without marks; the right-hand image depicts marked findings. In this way, readers have the opportunity to see the native picture to assess it by themselves and then correct their opinion, if necessary. Five sections comprise this atlas, including the normal thyroid, diffuse thyroid lesions, both benign and malicious lesions (including various carcinomas), and rare findings.
