Este libro demuestra diferentes técnicas estadísticas para analizar datos relacionados con la salud, así como también proporciona nuevas técnicas para pronosticar y/o proyectar la incidencia de enfermedades/trastornos. Presenta información sobre una variedad de temas relacionados con la salud del mundo desarrollado y en desarrollo. Con investigaciones de vanguardia realizadas por distinguidos demógrafos aplicados y especialistas en salud pública, el libro cierra la brecha entre la teoría y la investigación. Cada capítulo proporciona métodos y materiales que pueden usarse para realizar investigaciones adicionales destinadas a promover problemas de salud pública.
