Este volumen reúne, analiza, debate y evalúa los resultados de la investigación actual sobre educación artística y cultural en Europa, centrándose en los desafíos de la diversidad cultural. La diversidad cultural es un rasgo cada vez más característico de las sociedades contemporáneas. Conviven, interactúan y se fusionan grupos de diferentes orígenes étnicos, sociales o culturales. Los desafíos de la diversidad cultural –su potencial innovador, así como sus tensiones y conflictos– se reflejan en los discursos transnacionales sobre educación, cultura, democracia y ciudadanía. Los enfoques transculturales, la educación multicultural y el aprendizaje intercultural son conceptos clave. Los mismos desafíos se reflejan en la educación artística y cultural dentro y fuera de las escuelas, en la formación de profesores y artistas, en las políticas culturales y educativas y en la investigación. Los trece capítulos de este libro informan sobre nueve países representados en la Red Europea de Observatorios en el Campo de la Educación Artística y Cultural (ENO). Muestran buenas prácticas en investigación y enseñanza, fomentan el intercambio de experiencias, estimulan a investigadores y partes interesadas y brindan información sobre sus prácticas profesionales. |
