Nota de contenido: The Regional Pollution of Trace Metals—the Hetao Area, China -- The Metropolis Pollution of Trace Metals — Shanghai and Nanjing, China -- The Experimental Research on the Behaviors of Trace Metals -- An Approach on the Behavior Impacts and Factors of Trace Metals in Environment -- The Speciation of Trace Metals and Research Methods -- An Approach to the Identification for the Original and Added Concentrations of Trace Metals in Soil System Polluted by Trace Metals -- Main Research Results. Tipo de medio : Computadora Summary : This book focuses on the behavior and impact of trace metals in the environment by studying typical cases from China such as the Hetao Area of the Yellow River, Shanghai, and Nanjing. Based on samples and experiments on the behavior of pollutants, it systematically discusses the regulation of trace metals' distribution, accumulation, and migration, associated with the cause of formation demonstration. The author subsequently uses the acquired data to review the evolving trend of trace metal behaviors in natural systems (river or lake water, sediments, and soils), develops suggestions for the prevention of their negative effects, and devise treatments. Moreover, he proposes solutions to difficult research issues such as trace metal speciation extraction, and an analysis, along with operational procedures. Given its scope, the book will provide a valuable guide for researchers and engineers in relevant disciplines of the environmental sciences and engineering, and for environmental policymakers to consult in practices. . Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, as a key focus, provides valuable perspectives for governments, inter-governmental and non-governmental agencies wanting to innovate and advance both ICT and education independently and collaboratively. This book highlights the burgeoning of ICT in education in eleven countries, with particular emphasis placed on the context of the Belt and Road Initiative. ICT has increasingly important roles in education including improve teaching and learning qualities, as well as equity in education. The prominent contributors describe the state-of-the-art of ICT in education in eleven countries based on six major themes (policy perspectives, infrastructure, educational resources, ICT integration into practices, students' ICT competence, and teachers' professional development). We hope the in-depth discussions included in this book would provoke more academic and policy insights globally. . Tipo de medio : Computadora Summary : The book offers an in-depth research of the economic situations along the Belt and Road and the initiative's cooperation prospects, opportunities and challenges. It draws on economic data, including those on trade, investment, infrastructure, urban distribution, industrial cooperation, financial integration and revision of historical and political background. The Belt and Road initiative (BRI) comes from not only the ancient Silk Road, but also a long-term international cooperation between China and relevant countries. As a China-led initiative, the BRI is built upon China's international vision according to its development process. Therefore, the book also discusses how China balances its own development process among different domestic regions, and how the Initiative fits into the changes of global economic system and brings positive change for developing and developed economies involved, on the long haul. Furthermore, this book aims to find out precise direction of the initiative in order to assess appropriate implication on development under current globalization and provide valuable experience for future economic synergetic development by reviewing the past cooperative experience as references for policy-making and prospective engagement In terms of methodology, analyses were conducted applying multi-methods with best available evidence to enrich the understanding of the potential of the BRI in terms of socio-economic impact on cooperation and difference and similarities of economic, cultural characteristics and political system among countries.
